10 reasons to have a Green Heart - we amend our quotations to help customers chose the right system for them
From now on, all quotations issued by Green Heart will include a bullet point list on things to look out for when researching solar systems.We understand that this is a big investment for our customers and that we are not the only company to offer solar systems. However, we are confident that our systems are market leading. As such, we feel it is important that when comparing our systems with others, all things are taken into account.
The quotation now states the following about our packages;
- Will provide mains-pressured hot water; giving “power shower” performance. This will increase performance if you currently have a standard storage cylinder and will not be the case on “twin coil” solar cylinders.
- Links into your existing central / under-floor heating system allowing solar contribution. This will not be the case for “Twin Coil” solar systems.
- Has the ability to accept a number of energy sources, both conventional and renewable, including heat pumps, gas boilers, oil burners and wood burners.
- Does not draw energy from your cylinder in winter to stop it freezing. Many models of solar panels use water direct from the cylinder. In near freezing conditions, water needs to flow continuously, loosing energy, to avoid the system freezing and fracturing. Green Heart systems use indirect fluids with antifreeze to stop this happening.
- Uses state-of-the-art evacuated tubes which perform better in the UK climate compared to flat plate collectors on a similar basis. Our panels collect more of the energy per square metre
- Uses a safer vented water store which does not need to be annually serviced by expensive plumbing contractors. If the storage was non-vented, then this will be a legal requirement.
- Does not need a cold water store in the attic space, which will increase storage space, reduce health risks and reduce the risk of freezing.
- Uses an advanced thermal store which retains the heat longer once it has been captured by the solar panels. The solar coil is finned to increase the surface area and improve the heat transfer from panel to store.
- Has the ability to be “Future Proofed” so that additional heat sources can be added down the line.
- Solar panels Guaranteed for 10 years with a life expectancy of 25+ years. All Green Heart installers have Public Liability insurance for up to £2,000,000.
